Hi there! My name is Matthew Cooper and I am a 29 year old web designer based in London & Essex. I have over 8 years’ experience of working in website design & development. By day I work as a Digital Marketing Manager/Coordinator in the I.T Networking Industry but by night (and weekends)…. I work as a freelance web designer. I’ve designed websites & marketing campaigns for a variety of clients, ranging from freelance professionals to start-up businesses., all looking to get a presence on the web. I pride myself on great communications skills which enable me to gain a proper & full understanding of what my clients are looking to achieve with their website.
Whilst I am a Web Designer by trade I have experience in development to further enhance the websites functionality. I also have a sound understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) & PPC (Pay per Click) techniques to help improve your websites natural & paid listings. I am well versed in using Adobe Creative Suite Packages such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator & Dreamweaver. I can design & build websites for CMS platforms such as WordPress and I’m experienced in using HTML, CSS, PHP & MySQL. I have experience in designing for print and building all manner of online marketing campaigns. If you’re looking to build a website or some form of marketing strategy please feel free to get in touch and I will be more than happy to discuss your requirements.
In case you wanted to learn a little more about myself, here are a few facts & interests about me… I recently moved to Heybridge in Essex with my partner of nearly 10 years. I enjoy playing & following sports namely Golf, Swimming, Squash & Football (I’m an avid Spurs fan but please don’t hold that against me). I’ve been fortunate enough to live abroad (with my family and as an adult) in such places as New Zealand, Australia, Germany & Switzerland. I’m an average guitar/bass player (mainly because I don’t practice enough!) but I still have aspirations of playing a few gigs some day. I regularly collect and enjoy listening to vinyl records and I have a cat called Bella who is always up to mischief.
